Get Moving was a practical and fun programme to encourage greater physical activity and a healthier lifestyle among primary school children.

How did it work?
26 schools in 2 countries were nominated by Kraft employees and once selected they recieved a resource pack, facilitator support and £1,000.

The schools involved were encouraged to analysise and improve their school grounds to support children and make active play and other forms of activity a natural and enjoyable part of their everyday lives.

The programme had 4 stages:
Get Thinking: introduced concepts of exercise, nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
Get Talking:
pupil led activities to measure activity and opportunities for exercise and play.
Get Planning: pupils developed a plan to support the activities they enjoyed.
Get Moving: pupils and staff delivered the action plan

Who was it for?
The chosen schools were based in Kew (4), Bridgend (4), Banbury (8) and Sweden (10).
